Courteney Cox Arquette, Brad Pitt and Cindy Crawford have all undergone controversial LASIK eye surgery because it makes them look good. The procedure, which many believe leads to damaged eyesight later on in life, improves vision by reshaping the cornea. But the surgery has been snapped up by celebrities because they think it improves their looks. Los Angeles doctor Robert Maloney who zapped Crawford, says, "If people are doing close-ups of your eyes you don't want the redness and irritation that comes with a contact." But crooner Barry Manilow, another to have the treatment, insists looking good was not his only motivation - he says he wanted to connect with his audiences rather than "see a blur".
Like I would love to get the laser eye surgery but I'm afraid some crazy earth quake or something will occur her in NJ and the laser will slip and I'll be blind for the rest of my life bumping into poles and saying "I'm sorry" to them!!
But I guess I'd rather see my audience too, and just sitting at a normal distance for the computer with my glasses off its hard to see, but if I squint its a little bit better but squinting gets annoying after awhile! Putting the glasses back on.
And being on stage and sweating is never good with glasses, I know from experiance, playing sports, that sweating with glasses after awhile they start to slip and fog up, which really sucks!!!
Barry is so awesome with or without glasses!
