IT NEVER RAINS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
ALBERT HAMMOND

Got on a board a west bound seven forty seven
Didn't think before deciding what to do
All that talk of opportunities, TV breaks and movies
Rang true, sure rang true.
Seems it never rain in Southern California
Seems I've often heard that kind of talk before
It never rains in California
But girl, don't they warn ya
It pours man it pours.
Out of work, I'm out of my head
Out of self respect I'm out of bread
I'm under loved I'm under fed
I wanna go home
It never rains in California
But girl don't they warn ya, it pours, man it pours.
Will you tell the folks back home I nearly made it
Had offers but don't know which one to take
Please don't tell them how you found me
Don't tell them how you found me give me a break
Give me a break
Seems it never rains in Southern California
Seems I've often heard that kind of talk before
It never rains in California
But girl, don't they warn ya
It pours man it pours

Haven't Updated in awhile....

and I figured I would, update you on some news in Manilow land.

Let's see:
As if you didn't ALREADY know Barry is going to be in Philly on September 8th and on September 9th he's going to be in Boston.

The 70's Album will be out soon, 1 month 12 days 23 hours and 6 minutes.
I heard "It Never Rains in Southern California" via video. Let me tell you, IT'S AMAZING!!! I wanted to run (which trust me I do not enjoy) to his house and give him a hug! I don't think I've heard the song before but I'm going to find it and download the orginal. Then he's doing one of my favorite songs, "Sailing" by Rod Stewart, it's such a beautiful song, so I'm sure he'll do great on it and it will be fabulous!
Then the soon to be famous duet with Rosie O'Donnell. Am I the only one freaking out about that? I'm sorry I love Rosie as a comedian but once she goes off into lezbian-rightious-political-all knowing-bitch mode, I can't stand her. And I heard her sing before, you know the Christmas song, was it horrible? No. Was it great? No, not even close. It wasn't even good, Barry's singing was, Rosie not so much.

So what else, what else? Oh I guess I'll post the track list.

from Manilow.com

I've been typing this for like an hour, it's taking so long because I'm lazy and to busy looking at other things to do this.

Hmmm....
So the Barry Manilow Fansite on Myspace is doing pretty awesome! (www.myspace.com/manilow_obsessed) it has 537 friends, I have to update it, put working music on there, and put some actual information about Barry on there, because all I have on there are pictures lol which you know isn't all that bad, those pictures kick major butt!!

1 month 22 hours and 16 minutes till release day!! OMG!

"seens it never rains in southern california...." DAMNIT! songs stuck in my head!

Here take a listen to the orginal by Albert Hammond.
What's up with the host's accent? It's hilarious! God, I'm going to hell aren't I?

Back to the Manilow stuff, well yeah I've been getting a ton of friend requests, and they aren't spammers! You have no idea how happy that makes me!!! lol

Ok done with plugging my fansite for now.
www.myspace.com/manilow_obsessed
haha kidding! what I thought you might have forgotten it!

I'm going to post videos of the orginal songs from the new album. You may ask, "Why Kristen, we can look them up our selfs?" Well my answer to that is. It makes me feel good and I enjoy making people's lifes easier. Is that a good answer?
